BetterScapes Celebrates Arbor Day with the City of Bethlehem at Calypso Elementary
We were honored to join the City of Bethlehem, PA in celebrating Arbor Day at Calypso Elementary School! Our team helped plant a new tree on the school grounds while students learned about the importance of caring for trees, the environment, and the role trees play in our communities. It was a wonderful day connecting with the next generation of tree stewards right here in the Lehigh Valley.
BetterScapes Supports Saucon Valley Country Club's Hosting of the 78th U.S. Junior Amateur Championship
BetterScapes Lawn, Shrub & Tree Care is pleased to announce its support of Saucon Valley Country Club's hosting of the 78th U.S. Junior Amateur Championship. The Championship will be held July 20–25, 2026, on Saucon Valley Country Club's Old & Grace Courses in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The 78th U.S. Junior Amateur will bring some of the nation's top young golfers to Saucon Valley Country Club for a week of premier competition. The event represents another significant moment for the Club, which will be hosting its ninth USGA Championship in 2026. BetterScapes Adds Kevin Rodriguez to Strengthen Sales Efforts Across the Eastern Lehigh Valley
BetterScapes Lawn, Shrub & Tree Care is pleased to announce the addition of Kevin Rodriguez to its sales team, where he will help support growth in Nazareth, Easton, and the eastern portion of the Lehigh Valley. Rodriguez brings a strong background in arboriculture, plant health care, and customer service. He graduated in 2020 from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife and Conservation Biology. Following graduation, he joined Bartlett Tree Experts, where he began his career as a plant health care technician and arborist groundsman. Within two years, he advanced to the role of arborist representative, a position he has held since. In addition to his field experience, Rodriguez became an ISA Certified Arborist in 2024 and holds pesticide applicator licenses in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. "We are excited to welcome Kevin to the BetterScapes team," said Patrick Mullins, owner of BetterScapes. "His knowledge, professionalism, and background in plant health care will be a valuable asset as we continue to grow our presence in the eastern Lehigh Valley."
